The pagination screen provides total control over how your online
publication will take shape. By default, Dispatch remembers your previous
and historic pagination, so you won't need to adjust a thing. However,
should you chose to do so, the following are a few of the powerful
options available:
- Change the sequence of articles as they are displayed on
a table of contents, or as "suggested links" generated by Dispatch tags.
- Adjust the order of pages within a section or the
entire issue. (This is particularly useful for linear "page forward" or
"page back" designs.)
- Move an article into a different section, or clone the article
so it can appear in multiple sections.
- Hold an article for future publishing, or set it aside for
another issue also in progress.
- Schedule an automated release: Dispatch can time-release articles,
allowing your site to be updated at intervals without any additional work
or supervision.
- Incorporate interstitial pages (pages threaded between
articles within an issue). Interstitial
pages are commonly used as table of contents and sponsor pages.
