Dispatch Statistics & Analysis

Dispatch Statistics provides a revolutionary new way to analyze site traffic. By using the information generated from your web server traffic logs and merging it with your content database, you can analyze what content gets read and what doesn't.

Reports are available by story, author, column, issue, keyword, story type, and reader searches, as well as general server log information such as browser, operating system, and IP address. You can also create and define your own reports: See if stories on one particular topic get read more than another; scrutinize word-count breakouts to determine optimal page lengths; view a list of your most popular authors and what they're writing about; or analyze what readers are searching for that you don't have.

All of this information and more is available using Dispatch Statistics, and it's automatically calculated daily. There's no need to run software or download files. Just login, choose a report, and explore.

Dispatch Statistics can also tie in with your author and artist database, allowing you to schedule reports to be auto-emailed to your contributors. This allows you to increase staff awareness and involvement with your online publication. For example, you might release individual reports to authors about their most popular stories in your last issue, or which topics throughout your publication's archives have generated the most impact, etc.
